STATEMENT OF THE HUNGARIAN AMERICAN COALITION
Washington, DC - On December 14, 2004
The Hungarian American Coalition’s organizational and individual members
reject the style and substance of Kálmán Magyar’s article published in
the December 6, 2004 edition of Magyar Nemzet attacking Hungary’s
Ambassador to the United States. We strongly condemn any smear campaign
or character assassination between Hungarians (whether they are
Hungarian-Americans or from the Carpathian Basin). In addition, we
object to the implication that the author speaks on behalf of the entire
Hungarian American community.
